I am trying to make contact with anyone who was in, or had a relative in, the 225 Parachute Field Ambulance and or the No 3 Parachute Battalion. My father John Thomas Peat (Service No: 10539378) served with the 225 Parachute Field Ambulance from 26th Feb 1945 and was posted to No 3 Parachute Battalion in July 1946, spending time in Singapore and Palastine. I have several photos of my Dad and have uploaded some. The back of one of them has the surnames Hills, Lay, Evans and Sands - does this connect to anyone out there?? Would love to hear from anybody with info on the 225 Parachute Field Ambulance and No 3 Parachute Battalion. Cheers, Nigel

Hi, Thanks very much for the useful info. The ParaData site is great, I have posted my Dad's details and some photos, if anyone is interested, they can be found here: John Thomas Peat | ParaData Also on ParaData I found my Dad in a group photo of 224 PFA, he was with 224 until being posted to 225 in Feb '45 - a great find! I also liked the 3 Para findex site and will add my Dad's details here as well. My Dad was a keen boxer and I have two programmes detailing bouts that I will scan and upload. One of these had Brigadier Nigel Poett presenting the prizes. Cheers, Nigel
PS, forgot to add that some photos can also be found here http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=319&pictureid=2638 Cheers, Nigel
