I am researching an airman who served with 201 squadron

    he was AC1 T/Sgt T/Flt Sgt T/WO then LAC
Trade F2E then F2E AG then Flight Engineer

he qualified for 39-45 star Atlantic Star Africa Star Def and War medals

he transferred to a training school may 44 as LAC and became Flight Engineer

I cannot see how he qualified for the Africa Star as 201 Sqn from 1940-44

also would he wear a E Half wing as a LAC

    any help greatly appreciated

    regards

    james
