20 Field Comany New Zealand Engineers Fiji

I'm researching members of the New Zealand Engineers and have come across the death of 43492 David William Harris DoD 13th Dec 1941, Aged 27. CoD accidentally killed. Lcpl 20 Field Company New Zealand. Does anyone have access to the war diaries of this company that makes mention of the circumstances surrounding the accidently dead of Spr Harris.
