As part of my effort to detail the Indian Army units that fought in the Western Desert during the chaotic period from 26 May 1942 to 23 October 1942, I am in need of some more details on the 2/4th Gurkha Rifles, which served under the 10th Indian Infantry Brigade of the 5th Indian Infantry Division during this period.

I have some old notes from the regimental history:

Macaulay, Col. J.M. A History of the 4th Prince of Wales’s Own Gurkha Rifles. Volume III - 1838-1948. London: William Blackwood and Sons Ltd.,1952.

What I need are copies of the pages from this regimental history that cover this period from May to October 1942. If anyone has a copy of this history, I would appreciate it if you can post copies of these pages or PM me with copies of these pages.

    Thanks in advance.
