Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me where this Private would have been when he was killed on the 1st August 1944 and what part his Battalion would have played in whatever battle it was? I know by the Casualty Form that there were lots of casualties in the early days of August and he was buried in Calvados, France, but would he have been part of the Normandy Landings?
