    4, 5 & 6 september 1940

    capeling
    killed on active service, 751903 flight sergt. robert capeling, aged 19 years, dearly beloved son of george and margaret capeling (nee shadforth), of 1 gibb square, hartlepool. interment at halton, wendover, on thursday at 2-30pm, with military honours.

    9 september 1940 - acknowledgement

    the family of the late flight sergt. robert capeling desire to tender their sincere thanks to his comrades in the r.a.f., friends and neighbours for their kindness shown to them during their sad bereavement, for letters of condolence and floral tributes.
