All images are filed in
Gazette date order,
then by Medal order (DSO, MC, DCM, MM) and
then by regimental seniority on the army list.

At the start of each new date TNA included a copy of the Gazette, handy to check that to get a rough idea of where an individual citation should be. There are no indexes but as they say 'practice makes perfect' and it's quite possible to locate a citation within a couple of minutes.
