I have a photo dated Catterick 1938 of the Queens Own cameron Highlanders boys football team (a "boy" was a junior soldier under 21) They were winners Boys Army Cup Section A and Runners Up Boys Army Cup Section B I wonder how many of the following names made it through to 1945: L/cpl H Love Boy G Hall Boy A Chisholm Boy D McCurry Drummer J Bowler (my father) Boy W MacIntyre Boy J Easton Boy J Lawson Boy A Sandilands L/Cpl G Allan Capt & Adj J A Grant Peterkin Boy W Grant Lt Col D N Wimberley MC Boy J Dunn Drum Major J MacPherson Piper A Phillips RSM A W Cooper The photo is too big to scan on my scanner, but if anyone knows any of the above and wants a copy, I'll go to the photo shop in town.

Without their numbers and rank it will take some doing. Quick glance at my records and there is an A. Chisolm as a casualty in Middle East 1942. No Hall of any rank listed. Will check to see if any others are listed when I get time.
