My lad’s just got back from a fortnight in Sorrento. Major Freddie Gough MC, CO of 1st A/B Div’s Recce Sqdn. is buried there. So I sent him on a mission!
During my vacation on July 22 I tried to find te grave of Charles Frederick Howard Gough (16th sept 1901-19th sept 1977) who served in Arnhem.There are several cemeteries in Sorrento. Inquiries at the town hall showed me the way to Traversa S. Renato, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy. https://goo.gl/maps/isX5fWCxFmawe47C7 Opening hours are limited and change throughout the year. I went back once to be able to take the pictures because the cemetery was closed. At the cemetery there was no one to give information.
