1940s weekend - Hanworth Country Park - near Lincoln- July 2026

I've always loved a good 1940s weekend and was gutted when Woodhall Spa cancelled theirs.

I've just learnt that Hanworth Country Park is looking at hosting one next year - 25th & 26th July.

Just had a quick look where it is, only about 10 mins from bomber command in Canwick.

 

Absolutely, basically just down the road on the B1188.

Not sure if you've seen this post and, if you have, would be interested in attending (vintage military vehicles).

I have no connection to the Park but I miss the Woodhall Spa 40s weekend, and would love this new venture to be a success.

Next year, Hanworth Country Park will be stepping back in time to the 1940s

Expect a full weekend of nostalgia with stalls, entertainment, live music, wartime vehicles, reenactments, 1940s style food, and even a nostalgic sweet stall

We’re also hoping for a flyover from our local air force to complete the experience

We’re excited to be showcasing the first of many 1940s themed events, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
