This in answer to a request: Royal Artillery Attestations: Casualty Lists: Edit: date given was 12 Jun 1944
Thanks for your help Harkness. In the war diary for 62 A/T, 247 Battery, there were 3 Other Ranks (including Burrett). Can you identify the other two guys. One Crusader Tower hit and burned out. 245 Battery not in action. 246 Battery - A Sgt Webb was reported as a Battle accident. 247 Battery - Copy below. 248 Battert - Gunner T. Nu?den wounded. (Poor hand writing).
There are some "D.N.R.s" and casualties on other dates but I can't find the other two in the same list as Burrett. 1939 Register 169 Mackenzie Road, Beckenham M.B., Kent Name - DOB - Occupation - Marital status Percy T Burrett - 24 Nov 1909 - Labourer Heavy Public Works - Married Phyllis S Burrett - 12 Mar 1912 - Unpaid Domestic Duties - Married David J Burrett - 01 Mar 1936 - At School - Single The record for this person is officially closed.
