    My uncle Reginald (Bob) Brown army Number was 1866030.His service record says he
    embarked from UK 3 June 1944 with17 Field Company RE. Killed as the result of a Battle Accident at Caen on Tuesday 27 June 1944.
    Can any one please help me to find
    out what his unit was doing between these dates as I and my cousins (his daughters) would like to know more about the battle accident?
