16th Canadian Field Company, RCE - Bridge’s

    I have gone thru the war diaries of the 16th Cdn Field Company, RCE and found all the bridges & rafts they constructed from 6 Jun 44 to 4 May 45.

    Attached is a spreadsheet showing the information that I have found. Their may be others or information that isn’t in the war diaries, and please let me know and I can amend the spread sheet as needed.

    I took screenshots of the spreadsheet, so the info here isn’t that clear…….if anyone needs a clear copy, let me know by PM and I can send you a PDF file

    April 17th: Bailey bridge at Scharsterbrug over the Scharsterrijn (Friesland, Netherlands). This opened the way for the Régiment de la Chaudière towards Lemmer.

    April 16th: near Lichtmis, over the Dedemsvaart (Overijssel, the Netherlands).
