Hi Experts, Please excuse my asking this question, but I have just started researching the local War Memorial and the men and boys on it, so although I know that thousands of prisoners were taken by the Japanese and a little bit of the horror they suffered but I have come across some documents that give the date of imprisonment as 15th February 1942. Can you tell me what happened on that day and how it happened please.

Many thanks in advance, Kind regards, Mavis Williams
