15th Cheshire Bantams. Unsure if this unit survived WW1 or the interim period. If not, can you delete this. If they did, does anyone have any info on them.

They became the Cheshire Regiment but were also known as the 1st Birkenhead. I know the Cheshire's went on to a glorious history but cannot seem to find out if the 'bantams' disappeared, amalgamated or what. A Bantam is a small variety of poultry, unsure of connection? Thanks, I found that link.
