Hi all, Looking for more information on another Royal Marines unit - the 12th Battalion. I really cannot seem to find much information online about non Commando units. Is this usual? Anyway, if you have information on them I would be glad to read it. Kind regards Emps
The 12th R.M. Battalion was formed at Hayling Island, Hampshire, on 1st January 1941 for service as the Land Defence Force. It was disbanded at South Hayling on 7th August 1942.
