I am about to start some research into a man from 111 RAF Squadron who died / was killed on 03/02/1943, was wondering if anyone had any history on the squadron or may know how he died, is there a published casualty list for the squadron or any history source, thanks.

Wasman - you should be able to obtain all the information you require by visiting the Public Records Office at Kew, in Richmond, Surrey. They have all Squadron Operations Record Books (RAF Forms 540 & 541) available on microfiche readers. Just take your passport along to prove you are a UK citizen and they will issue you with a reader's ticket. Photo copy facilities are also available.
