Captain Anthony Revell Eardley-Wilmot was born on 9 January 1910 the son of Major Theodore E. Eardley-Wilmot (photo below) and Mildred Clare Reynolds. He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, with a Master of Arts (M.A.) Another family member Anthony Neville Eardley-Wilmot was born on 24 March 1918.1 the son of Commander Frederick Neville Eardley-Wilmot and Dorothy Little.He too was killed in action on 23rd March 1943 at age 24 at Mareth. He was educated at St. Paul's School, London. He was mentioned in despatches. Commissioned into the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, Major A N Eardley-Wilmot was serving with the 6th Durham Light Infantry at the time of his death. Kyle
