I like him. He seems to like tanks, trucks and now tractors. Traction engines next!

I resent the implication I may not already like traction engines.

This is Salty, and possibly also Sally.
Fowler twin ploughing jobbies converted by Mclaren to Diesel operation using Maclaren/Benz engines.
They have Morris Minor engines as starter motors, and are possibly the finest rolling machines I have ever seen...

I discovered this forum by chance in May 2005 and was the first forum I ever joined while trying to find something about my Dad and his AIF 6th division at Tobruk. Little did I realise that I would be collecting headstone/memorial photos of 11,400 RAAF/RAF Australians around the world.

The mods and the members over the years have been great and Adam and Owen etc have kept the forum turning over and also kept the peace when many times the temperature of some rose to a critical level.

My thanks to both of you as I am still enjoying the ride.

    Cheers

Obviously I side more with being pedantic and I prefer the little grey Fergie to a Lanz Bulldog ( although I like the fact that you remove the steering wheel and shaft and use it to turn the cogs inside to make it start ) but since Owen started this thread I agree that we should mark the anniversary by saying...

Thank you very much, Adam, you are a star.
