Yesterday, I finished up my scratch-built 1/76 Galion 101D Grader. It is seen here and thanks go to Stu Harrison for the wheels Peter Marshall for the decals and Steve Guthrie for the inspirational photos. It is marked up for the 1st Mech Equip Coy RCE as in France in 1944 and includes a figure from Milicast. The rifle is from Wee Friends Models. Cheers, Neil
Neil, That is very nice indeed. I hope that those who see it appreciate the amount of skill and concentration that goes into the making of those fine parts, and getting them to fit together. The figure looks rightly proud of his machine. Mike
Thanks Mike for the kind words. As you well know, it is a labour of love for us I think and very satisfying when it all comes together. Neil
Thanks Clive and funny you should mention that as roughly 40 of my Canadian Army models are on permanent display at the Regimental Museum of the Grey and Simcoe Foresters in Barrie, Ontario. Neil
Maybe to illustrate Mike's comment, here are a few views of it in progress. You can see the various sub-assemblies, the assembled model and the addition of hydraulic hoses prior to priming for painting. You can see the similar diameter Airfix wheels I used to get heights and dimensions right while the 3d printed ones were being made by Stu Harrison in Yorkshire. Neil
