    Hi Folks,

Here are a couple of photos of recently built models. First is an Airfix QL with the Milicast QLR Body and some stowage from Milicast plus a scratch-built item. It is finished as a Royal Signals HQ unit with the 7th Armoured Division in France 1944. Also in France 1944 is a Firing Line Humber 8cwt Light Ambulance with the 18 Light Field Ambulance attached to the 11th Armoured Division. The latter was a multi-media kit of P/E and white metal to which I added a lot of styrene as I had to scratch-build some areas. The kit body was not the correct shape so I scratched a new one. As the fit of the new body to the P/E chassis was compromised, I made a new chassis from the cab back to accommodate the body at the correct height. Numerous other changes and enhancements were made as required as the build progressed.
Anyway, I hope you like the results.

    Cheers,

    Neil

Great ambulance, Neil. I have done a good deal of work on the body of mine, but it still languishes as a shelf queen! Of course I've seen the bedford before.

Thank you both Clive and Chris. I have never seen one of these finished so thought I would give it a go. Actually, if it wasn't for the body shape issue, it wouldn't be a bad representation of the real thing. The shape of the bonnet where it meets the windscreen/instrument panel also needs some trimming to make it right. You should try and finish yours one of these days.

    Cheers,

    Neil

A couple of corkers there, of the usual high quality! (but what are you like at figure painting ;))

Thanks Owen and Dave for the nice comments. Occasionally, I do add some figures to the vehicles in little vignettes but most often I just like to display the vehicles on their own.
Here are a couple of examples so you can judge for yourself.

    Cheers,

Come on Neil, this is getting monotonous, show us a BAD model for a change! Assuming you have any, which I think you don't :)
