I just finished and mounted the Scammell SV2S and here are some photos of it sporting late war camo of SCC15/SCC14 and marked for the REME Workshops of the Guards Armoured Division in Europe 1944. It features a full cab complete with 3 rifle rack, operating controls, body, a Scammell 8 Ton winch,a Gardner 6LW Engine and a Herbert Morris Ltd hoist, all scratch-built.
Thanks go to Mike Starmer for his great co-operation in assisting with colours and markings.
    I hope you enjoy it.

    Cheers,

    Neil

That is VERY nice. I have a 1/35th scale one with less detail.

I have just seen Neil's 1:76 model Scammell Pioneer R100 HAT in Military Model Vol. 43 No 6, June 2013. Well worth reading. Nice pictures and he reveals many of his secret techniques.

Neilie, this is getting monotonous! Show us a BAD model for a change

Just kidding, of course, your model is super!

Thank you all for the generous comments and yes Mike, I was fortunate enough to have my Scammell R-100 in MilMod. Thanks for pointing that out for the folks.
I'm currently ready to paint a Foden DG6/12 as it appeared in Tunisia in 1943 complete with some slightly modified (field service caps instead of berets) AB figures unloading it. It is from a photo of troops unloading one in a hot climate and it is what appears to be SCC2 Brown with Black M/M camo. Input from those more knowledgeable than I have it as 226 Gen Trspt Co RASC with 1st Army. It has a white 547 on the red/green with white bar below so if anyone has differing info on ID, I'd be please to hear it.
See photo but mine will have the tilt on....a little modeller's license.

    Cheers,

    Neil
