    G'day all,

Been working on this figure for a while now, but I think Terry's finally presentable. He depicts a Humber Scout Car commander of 5th RTR's Intercommunications Troop (I like to be a little bit different with my figures) in Normandy on about June 9th.

So here we are... apologies for the really rather awful 'wall' - alas, it's the best I can put together at the mo, but I will be re-creating this dio with a proper wall and backdrop at some point.

And opening a little something extra given him by one of the locals....

The base figure is DML's (Dragon Models Ltd.) Value+ 'Terry Davies', with the webbing from the original DML Terry Davies, DML BD from 'Robert Davies', the hand-made cloth beret by One Sixth Unique and the RTR cap badge by Tony Barton. The Craven 'A's are by One Sixth Scale King while the mess tin, enamel mug, stewed lamb can and other items are from DML's Harry Collins (save the wine bottle, don't know what company made that).

The Case, Pistol, Web, R.A.C Mk. II was converted from the original DML Mk.I by removing the horizontal leg strap completely and shortening the vertical strap, then folding it to make the loop and sewing it.

He is still a WIP, will try to get the webbing blanco'd in 103 soon (hopefully before Christmas...).

Hope ye all like, more pics to come soon.

    All the best,
    Five-Five

I am tempted to cut my Pistol Webbing to make the MkII as it looks much neater!

Also a belated welcome to the forum.

    Regards
    Tom
