I have been to the Flintshire Recirds Office at Hawarden and looked through the Hawarden Parish Magazine for any clue to the compilation, erection, or unveiling of the WW2 Memorial Plaques or names and there is no mention in the book that covered 1943 -1949. Will try in other books next week, but they do nor follow on, some are missing. I have applied for the Hawarden Parish Council Minutes for the the same years, but as they are bound by the 100 year law I have had to ask permission, which I hope to have, to see the same as above. I want to know as much as possible of how the names were compiled and when. Regards, Mavis
