Repair and Salvage Unit 54 Western Desert

    Hi, I am a new member keen to know more about my father’s war experience. I have a number of his photographs from his time in the Western Desert - some have writing on the back. I have created an album and have started to upload them. If anyone has any info on this RSU that would be great.

    Hi,
    I can't remember if I've posted on here previously; I had signed up. My dad served with 111R.S.U in North Africa and Italy and I have lots of photos and his diaries too. It would be very interesting to compare. They must have seen some awful things; dad had a breakdown when he came home to Blighty. Best wishes, Kelvin Thomas, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
