Looking for any information on Docks Operation Company 1011 Middle Eastern Force 1941 Egypt and 1017 Docks Group Co 1942 Cyprus My understanding is that the M.E.F was Middle Eastern Force (Egypt and Palestine). How come someone would be with the M.E.F in Cyprus? any assistance would be appreciated.

Mediterranean Expeditionary Force MEF , a term used in WW1. Middle East Force MEF a term used in WW2. Can't see why not. We have a thread somewhere about the troops on Cyprus .
