I am trying to find out more about my father’s war record. He was born in 1924 and served in the Royal Corps of Signals. I don’t have his service number, but I know he was billeted in St. Huibrechts-Lille in Belgium because I have a wooden cross that the Maas (?) family carved for him. I believe he arrived in France on D Day + 3/4/5?
Whatever his war experience, it served as a conversion for him and he then trained as a Methodist minister.
    Can anyone help please?

Yes, those are the details of his death
The period in the US was an exchange with an American Methodist Minister - I have his diary from that period
