Gee wifes had me out in the garden for the last 2 weekends getting sunburn, needed this weekend to finally get it finished and guess what it is p#####g down .
Raining but very warm in East Yorkshire today but too many blooming ants. I hate them (and WASPS)! lesley
Sunshine and showers in North Yorkshire today, One can tell spring has arrived one viewed that rare creature the Hawker Hurricane performing its spring flypast ritual over Ripon. As normal unprepared no Bloody Camera with me!
Sitting in the sun-lounge catching up on the typing... it can't make its mind up whether it wants to be sunny or not here in Surrey... SURE SIGNS OF SPRING... SWMBO organising how much I should trim off the camelia and the laurel (too much/not enough) in the front garden, and the rest... "Let's clear that rubbish and take it to the tip..." usually means a solo trip and clearing up all the bugs that have ran for cover in the car... "I got the teak-oil for the garden furniture..." (luckily my SWMBO is usually user-friendly)
I have not seen rain for the three weeks that I have been here. 25C in Berlin yesterday with Smudger and his lovely family and flew back with RyanAir. What an experience My nephew says it was supposed to rain today with possible thunderstorms but warm and sunny in Canvey Island albeit a little windy. Back to london tomorrow - Off to Ireland Tuesday. Cheers Geoff
