154 Railway Operating Company Royal Engineers RENNES

    Where would I find information on 154 Railway Operating Company Royal Engineers in Rennes France. What happened to them.

    My grandfather, Sapper EW Bayliss, was killed on the 17th June 1940 (after Dunkirk) while on a hospital train at Rennes juction.

    This could do with being in the 1940 section - I think I'll have some stuff on this unit. I've definitely got their war diary.

    There's a website on the bombing - I thought it was on the RMS Lancastria website but I can't find it at the moment

    Hi - did you ever get an answer to this. My grandfather was evacuated at Dunkirk and was also in 154. I am trying to track his movements between April & August 1940...
