The state premier of Bavaria Markus Soeder and the local Nuremberg parliament were discussing it just recently. Even a UNESCO world heritage request is thought of. Stefan.
I wonder what the museum gift shop will sell. Doubtless as the late great Cupid Stunt used to say "all done in the best possible taste"
If one has to explain irony it doesn't work. Just think of some of the inappropriate over priced tat than many museum gift shops sell and try and imagine what one in a museum where the major war criminals were tried and try and think of the the worst items. Colouring books of the defendants for example. Herman Goring mugs and fridge magnets etc etc. Cupid Stunt cannot adequately be described "she" has to be heard and seen. Just google the name for a huge number of clips. Somewhere in the welter of gross semi porno films she describes is a musical of the Nuremberg Trials if I recall correctly
Perhaps they could sell replicas of one of the souvenirs that my dad came away with in 1946...A German celluloid cigarette pack holder with extra engraving added in the U.S. print shop. With the "Big Red 1" on the reverse. German wartime cigarettes were in soft packets and the standard cases were quite common in Continental junk shops until quite recently. I haven't seen any for a while though.
