Hi all, just joined the site & i am looking to find out some info on my grandfather who served in the 7th Battalion Seaforth highlanders. i know he was wounded somewhere near Caen. I have the telegram saying he was admitted to the Wooloston hospital on the 30th june 1944. My grandfathers name is George Thomas Brown. Any info would be greatly appreciated as my Grandfather rarely spoke about his experiences. Chris

Thank you very much for your reply & providing the log to view, it would seem my grandfather was wounded during operation epsom. Like i say all we knew was that he was shot by sniper fire somewhere near caen. thanks again
