74th anniversary of the Indictments being read.
I regard the trials as one of the most civilised things ever carried out by any victorious combatants.
A quite remarkable re-stating of the rule of law over untrammelled barbarity. Even these people would get a hearing after 50-60 million deaths.

My Dad was there with 9 Tele. Op. Section, Royal Signals as part of the operation to transmit reports back to the UK news agencies. His Tribunal photo pass makes him look like a criminal !

    That's superb.
Though it certainly does have a ring of 'defendant' about it.

What an event to have been present at.

The photo definitely says psychopath. Is it hereditary?

Oddly, he came away from Nürnburg after being billeted with the widow of a Luftwaffe pilot killed on a raid on Southampton, quite liking the Germans and with an active dislike of the Russian army - apparently they goose-stepped through the corridors with bayonets fixed when mounting guard etc. regardless of who was dashing from one office to another.

No known psychopaths in the family, Robert, the odd spot of OCD possibly. I'll tell him what you said though :-P
