    Hi guys.
    Does anyone have any copies to hand of 1st Black Watch war diary for November 1944?

    I'd be interested as well as it would cover the date when my father was wounded.
    I have a personal account written by 1st Black Watch Commanding Officer which covers May 44 to May 45 in exchange.

    Also interested in the Nov 1944 War Diary. My wife's Grandfather Pte. James Tinsley is on the casualty list for 24th Nov 1944.

    Hello,
    I am a new member and just saw your post. A transcribed summary of the war diaries for the 1st Tyneside Scottish have been uploaded to this site: 1st Tyneside Scottish April 1944 - 70 Brigade. Hopefully they may be of some help to you and others.
