I am trying to find service records for my Dad, his service number was 409342, he was awarded the Military Medal in 1945. the Dragoons regiment museum dont have his records so any information would be greatly appreciated

Thank you so much for this information, I never knew much about his Army service, he never talked about it much, my aunt said he wasn't the same after the war, guess i can understand more now after reading this
Very much so, he was 21 at the time, I had no idea of his war service, sadly he passed away when I was 16, he never spoke about the war My grandfather was in the first world war, my dad,uncle and aunt were all in the second war and all survived fortunately
