I am looking for my partners late fathers army number, I have tried every resource, website, museum and I don’t know where else to go.

    The details I have is

Name is Edwin Bernard Frayne or he could have been under Edwin Bernard Freeman as at some point his father changed his surname.
His dob is 1st June 1936
He went into the army at 18 so am presuming 1954
    He served with the buffs

That’s all I know, can you help at all?
