My Father AQMS David Dickie 818886 REME Was attached to 80th Assault Squadron RE , Juno Beach I’ve already posted his name on “ introductions “ But I’ve realised I will get a better response by stating his attachments name Sorry for any duplication I’m trying to follow the route of The 80th Assault Squadron RE from Normandy, through France, Holland and Rhine Crossing starting this year from 2/6/19 for 30 days Any contact from family members or website links with information would be appreciated I have little time for research into his service record etc before I go Hence the appeal for information on this forum
you have some info here AQMS David Dickie 818886 REME , Juno Beach hopefully a forum member may well have the war diaries following D-Day to assist you but I would send off for the service records now
