Steptoe and son.. Who would have known. We actually had a version of this here in Sweden when I was a kid aswell called Albert and Herbert. Loved it then and still do! But now I got to look at its original ofcourse.
Steptoe's living room and the yard outside, were famously packed with junk. Most of the episodes I watched as a youngster in the 1960s/early 1970s were on a black & white TV, so it was a real eye-opener when I first saw the program in colour! In colour you seem to notice far more objects like carpets, pictures, pots & lamp-shades that were not really so obvious in monochrome, especially on 405 lines. I understand that many of the colour episodes (i.e. series 5 & 6) now only survive in good old B&W ...maybe this is another project for Peter Jackson!
Lol yea maby he can do it as a spin off from that last movie when the world has gone down the drain and the citys are moving around.. Should leave alot of junk laying around I guess.
