Being new and frequently confused could you explain the difference between the chat and post functions and which to use for what. I find the chat more alarming and divisive, possibly I am a control freak and cant control the subject matter at the moment but give me time...….. Chat rooms are something I have avoided in the past and as I am temporarily using either my wife's laptop or my old tablet it is difficult to keep up with the correspondents. Maybe the experience will be better when I get my PC back. Although there is always a tendency to shoot from the hip rather than aim, control one's breath and engage brain before responding.
Chat is a place only viewable to those members that are in the room at the time. A place for a real time conversation. Threads & posts are visable to the entire internet as long as the forum exists.
Uncle Target Many moons ago I remember a Scottish chap in my unit saying to me "Dinna fash yoursel laddie !" It must be a rare person on this site who gets any satisfaction out of participating in the chat show and I hasten to admit I don't include myself ! The best word to remember (as Owen has so helpfully supplied) is /quit Ron
