    Hi Keith,
I've done a very quick sweep through some of the photos and here are a few backs of some of the prints you've posted. The first one is the back of the picture of the two chaps pictured in marching order under
the tree; looks like I was wrong about one of them being Hartland! Unfortuately, there's no idication of which one is which. The others I've included a thumbnail of the front for reference.
Hopefully that will start the ball rolling with some identifications. I'll get round to the rest in due course but there's a lot of them, some are smudged, some only have a first or place name ('Terry' crops up a lot) and many don't have anything, sadly.
A quick question: some of the pics has 'Passed By Censor' on the back, with a signature that looks like 'Hartland'. Were people allowed to self-certify things like that?
    All the best,
    Jerry

    Hi Jerry,
As an officer i think he was could do this, i do have a few letters from ww1 and the officer did the same self-certify.

Thanks for the names that are on the back of the photos, it gives a bit of history to them.
Do you have the group photo of him in the Queens Rgt.
Would you like any scans from the negs that i have.
All the Best and a big thank you for helping us out .

    Hi Keith,
I'm still checking through the photos. There are informal groupings which (I think) may have Hartland in them. So far, there's one formal grouping from the RA OCTU, which is unnamed, and another from a magazine (I've yet to confirm capbadge) which although it has names on it, Hartland does not appear to be among them. I'll keep on checking.
    All the best,
    Jerry

I am very pleased to see that many of the officers can now be identified. Many thanks for sharing the information.

Delighted to be able to help. One of the groups has a bunch of named NCOs and Gunners. I hope there'll be a lot more to come.

These photos were taken by the US army, show blown up Bridges in Burma. I have added colour to the photos using Ai software.
