I have recently been researching the life of our village vicar from 1917-1927 i.e. the Reverend Robert Gladstone Griffith and discovered that his son (born in China in 1914) died on the 6th August 1941 at York. This qualifies him for inclusion in a supplementary booklet we are currently producing which will cover omissions and corrections to our original WW1 and WW2 booklets that we published in 2014. I have found that he completed his 142nd OTCU training course in February 1941 and was assigned to the 157 Railway Company as a 2nd Lieutenant (service no 172010). The 142nd OCTU were based at Aldershot which is close to Farnborough where is father moved to in 1927. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help with a possible cause of death ? He was buried at St Michael's Church Steeple Claydon, Bucks where is father moved to in 1940. Andrew
