hello all! As a good Canadian, I’ll start by thanking you all for your service and for the information you have provided on this website! I served a few years with the Canadian primary armoured reserves but my grand dad born and raised in England served in British artillery, infantry and parachute during ww2. I have all of his service records but the details are still a little bit difficult to figure out. What is the best forum to post his info and what is the best service information to post to get a clearer picture of his story? And yes, I have searched and read anything to do with his regiments but still have some gaps

Specify precisely which acronyms and abbreviations are giving you trouble. Include as much supplementary information as you have from other sources, e.g. he said 'he mentioned spending a lot of time in Cairo'; 'his c/o's name was Roberts' etc.
