New CWGC Commemoration 18th October 2017

    CWGC added the following casualty to the WW2 Civilian War Dead Roll today.

    RADMALL, Alfred
    Died 09.10.40 Age 50
    Reporting Authority: St. Pancras, Metropolitan Borough

    NOT FORGOTTEN

    The above was an In From the Cold Project case.
    - Alfred Radmall was killed when dragged by a trailing barrage balloon cable (Volunteer: Terry Denham)

    This is my grandfather who I never met. Unfortunately my father was evacuated at the time and has now passed. How do I find out more ? Was he in the Norfolk Regiment ? Where can I find the Cold Project Case ?

    It looks like your Grandfather was a civilian at the time of his death.
    You can apply for his death certificate here https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/ this should give you a bit more detail
