Hello, I am researching my father's wartime service and looking for information about 112 LAA Regt RA. Dad (4448111 Gnr Alex Gallagher), served with the unit from Jan 1942 to Oct 1945. I have obtained his army service records from the MOD but they give no detail about the unit's activities or movements. I would particularly be interested in a copy of the war diaries. Thanks, Bryan
Hi Bryan Glad to see the suggestion worked. If you scan his records then you can 'upload a file' (or files) in the reply box and place them on here for members to read and help answer your questions (hopefully). TD

Thanks Steve, quite convoluted but was chaotic after the war ended. Bryan Hi Robert, Thanks for that. I need to decide which diaries are relevant Regards, Bryan
Thought the following might be of interest. Ron's wartime diary: Feb ’43 Haltwhistle, Northumberland. Posted to the 112th L.A.A. Regiment. (They were on a battle training course at the time) I was only with the regiment for a month and was then posted to Congleton in Cheshire to join a draft of Driver/Ops being sent to Tunisia as re-inforcements to the 1st Army, Ron
Bryan Sorry that I was only able to tie down one very brief period. If you go to my photo gallery you will find the entry shown in my "Ron's Army Records" Army Records Ron Sheet 12 | WW2Talk Ron
