Nortons in Egypt taken from the WD Norton website.

The motorcycles have Lucas bulb horns fitted on the handlebars, in addition to the electrical 'Altette' horn on the frame..The VAOS 'Equipment to Scale' listing shows this as being an additional item for Egypt only...Local legal requirement or less likely to startle the camels ?

    Captioned as follows :-

We don't see many ladies in Pith helmets, especially not standing on one leg on a motorcycle ! Triumph 3sw Pith.jpg

    Wouldn't a lady ride sidesaddle?

You may well be correct, Idler, but I'm sure that there are certain lady problems which could be alleviated by donning loose shorts and riding a speeding motorcycle with on leg in the air :)

Is a BSA M20 and Morris-Commercial eligible ? The tyres on the BSA are Good-Years. Photo is supposed to be Palestine. It must be 1941 or later. Palestine M20 & Morris.jpg

No vehicles, but almost certainly a very touching 'Dear John' letter

Did the British army attract an inordinate number of hydrocephalus victims? The pith helmet makes them look that way.

I hope that I'm right then and it's not newly-arrived mule equipment ! :) There are rifle holsters I think so presumably not. I know nothing about tack though.
