Not sure where to put this: 360 degree Spitfire flight from Dover to Dunkirk

This is a Wargaming promotional thing but I think it can be enjoyed on its own merits --

Wargaming (who make World of Tanks, Airplanes, etc) made a 360 degree video from inside the cockpit of a Spitfire flying from Dover to Dunkirk (Lydd Airport to Dunkirk to Goodwood Aerodrome, apparently). That means you can click and drag to look around inside the cockpit during the video, as the plane flies. It's pretty neat.

It's definitely the closest I'll ever get to flying in a Spitfire!

    Seroster,

That's pretty cool! Out of curiosity I downloaded the 750p version and discovered you need a special 360° video player for it to play properly on your device,

    Regards ....

I love this video. Imagine how good this would look in VR. We're not far from that I reckon.

I think we're already there! If you had a VR headset I think you COULD download the 750p version that Cee mentioned, and watch it in the headset.

... We have some VR headsets at my employers. I wonder if I could get it to work...
