Here's something that is bothering me for a while now. Shortly after the liberation of Echt (Netherlands) on 18 January 1945, a temporary cemetery was created next to the chapel of Schilberg (suburb of Echt and close to the infamous Schilberg x-roads). 13 Of our liberators had their temporary grave here, before being reinterred at Nederweert after the war. I was able to find the names and graves of all of them, except for the man in the middle grave of the front row. The cross clearly reads: LIEUT BJ REMMANT 1RB, but I can't find him anywhere. Am I overlooking something, or is this a bit of a strange case? Many thanks in advance.

Of course there's always the option of a misspelled name, ha! Many thanks! I wonder why he was reinterred at the general cemetery of Sittard (not even the war cemetery) instead of Nederweert, like the others.
Drew just posted elsewhere on the forum that the CWGC will be putting archives online for WW2 casualties, similar to info already released for WW1. Your question might be answered there, but it may simply be a procedural thing - whichever team removed him from field grave were using Sittard... Etc
