    Anyone seen any fields full of poppies this year ?

    I haven't in real life but have seen some poppytastic photos on Facebook .

    Mine haven't grew this year and the one that did the bleeding dog bit the bud off the little sod :mad:

    SDP Incurable Cometoholic

    This is the reverse slope of Point 103 near to St Pierre and Tilly sur Seulles in Normandy. The forward slope overlooks the Seulles valley and Tilly itself, Point 103 being a much fought over location due to its strategic significance.

    Photo taken by me a couple of weeks ago roughly corresponding to the 75th Anniversary of so-called 'Tiger Night' when 24th Lancers repelled a counterattack by the Panzer Lehr Division.
