It was brilliant to see the full line-up of names. In the end there were 5 Longcloth Chindits present, two of whom I had not been able to identify previously. So, thanks again.

Pte Cyril Morris, 68th Heavy Anti Aircraft Regiment, Workshop Section, RAOC. Detained in PG 54 Fara Sabina after the fall of Tobruk. Survived the bombing of the POW train near Allerona on 28th January 1944. I'm don't know the details of the men in the second photo, only this is the Joinery crew and that the man in the man in the middle is Umberto Tamburelli, an Italian citizen who worked at the camp.

There was a large number of Indian soldiers at Stalag XII-A. They had been
captured in North Africa in 1942 and spent the remainder of WWII at Limburg.
As troops of the British Commonwealth, the Indian soldiers were treated better than most,
and since they were imprisoned for a long time, they learned how to make their conditions
more comfortable, keeping both themselves and their quarters relatively clean.
