How bad can a (non parody) map get...

    It seems a common theme in Indian textbooks for some reason...

    ...hence, I guess, the prevalence of people pointing out the "more" egregious ones... remarkably odd. Though, were the shoe on the other foot I suspect there'd be plenty of parody in old maps of how Europeans saw "their world" and the mistakes they routinely made translating things... :) ;-)

    Was disappointed not to find Malta, until I realised our much larger Italian neighbour was also AWOL. Phew.
