Hard to credit it as real, as it almost looks like a geography test to pick out what is "wrong"...

 

Dodgy English, too. Though that shouldn't detract from what is surely The Worst Map Of All Time.

 

It seems a common theme in Indian textbooks for some reason...

...hence, I guess, the prevalence of people pointing out the "more" egregious ones... remarkably odd. Though, were the shoe on the other foot I suspect there'd be plenty of parody in old maps of how Europeans saw "their world" and the mistakes they routinely made translating things... ;-)
