A tank that served in Jersey during the German Occupation has been returned to the island for 6 months. The Renault Char B was one of 17 utilised in Jersey by the Germans from 1940 to 1945. The others were return to France at the end of the war, except for this one which was sent to the UK for evaluation.

The tank has been lent to the Jersey War Tunnels by the Tank Museum at Bovington and will be in the island until at least June.
